Breast Cancer Car, Bike and Truck Show

All (100%) registration money goes to Breast Cancer.
The Purr-fect Fit animal shelter is all volunteer. Thank you for buying hot dogs, baskets and 50/50.

The majority of the revenue goes to local charities.
The heat index of 100 to 105 degrees kept many people home with A/C.

Car and boat show recognizes Lt. Craig Lehner

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Classic cars and vintage boats were all part of honoring a fallen officer.
An annual event at the Outer Harbor recognized the life of Lieutenant Craig Lehner. Lehner died in October during a training exercise on the Niagara River. 
The boat portion of the show was named the Craig Lehner Memorial Regatta.
There was also a couple hundred cars on display for people to check out.
One of the organizers told News 4 it's all about helping others.
Sal Cerrone, with the WNY Oldsmobile Club, says "We have three children's charities -- Make-A-Wish, spina bifida, Cornelia de Lange syndrome. Most people don't know what it is. It's a very rare one. One of our members' great nieces has it, and that's the reason we give to them."
This is the first time the car show portion of this event has been held at the Buffalo Outer Harbor.

The third year of an annual boat and car show at Buffalo's Outer Harbor Sunday served to honor one of Buffalo's fallen: Lieutenant Craig Lehner.

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The third annual Thunder at the Outer Harbor boat and car show changed its name Sunday, to honor one of Buffalo's fallen: Lieutenant Craig Lehner.
The Craig Lehner Memorial Regatta and Oldsmobile Car Club Show was a joint effort featuring vintage race boats and classic cars.
With flybys performed by race boats, hundreds of classic cars, food trucks, vendors, and more, the free event was a great opportunity for residents to enjoy some fun in the sun.
The Underwater Recovery Team, which was Lehner's unit, provides diver and patrol support for the event every year.
